TAXI CAVALCADES, CRACKED ASTEROIDS, AND REBUY BLUES ON THE HUTTON RUN
Welcome back to the airwaves, truckers! The station scrubbers are working overtime after a massive wave of fresh recruits registered with the Hutton Helper this week, including the entire Flossy family and a swarm of eager pilots ready to earn their keep. Meanwhile, local Apex Interstellar taxi drivers were practically swimming in credits as commanders turned the long haul into an art form, booking back-seat rides for their ceremonial Hutton Runs. Hats off to CMDRs Taren Capel, KAPPA CHI, Christopher Hankey, and BJ Mckay for braving the supercruise cruise from the passenger seat, while CMDR InnerBushman set the thermal vents ablaze with an eighteen-minute record dash to Alpha Centauri. Over in HIP 74116, the Brewer Corporation Jump Satellite Initiative saw our truckers lining up in droves to drop off data, pledge support, and ensure our galactic infrastructure keeps humming along.
Out in the deep black, our survey crews and mining teams were buried under mountains of scanner data and valuable metals. CMDR A Salty BStard had a delightfully chaotic week smashing asteroids wide open in Paesia and HIP 100449, dodging constant security scans while filling hold after hold with high-grade platinum. Broad cartographic sweeps from deep-space hounds like CMDRs NoahHayman, Cylus Scratcher Resi, Sznur, DeadMeatGF, and M. Grey brought in millions of credits in stellar mapping. A extra-large mug goes to CMDR Wrongway for logging a magnificent B-Type Giant in HIP 74353 and to CMDR String-fellow Hawke for stumbling across a rare DQ-Type star in LAWD 8.
Of course, space wouldn't be space without a side order of plasma and peril. CMDR COUNT NUGGEt endured a nightmare week in Mel 111 Sector under relentless hostile fire, while CMDR Raijin Cajun survived a terrifying gauntlet after coming under heavy attack in Maidjin. Station security was out in full force handing out cargo scans like party favours, though CMDRs Beetlejude and Belwin Darkstar managed to dodge interdicting authorities with some delightfully nimble flying. Regrettably, the black claimed its toll as well; both CMDR Blaidd and CMDR XenosAurion faced the cold reality of the rebuy screen after fatal hull breaches. Raise a mug of Centauri Mega Gin to their brave ships, keep your shields charged, and as always: fly safe, truck hard, and for the Mug!
